Movie Plot: The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure with Sonic the Hedgehog 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Currently, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is available to watch in theaters. The Sonic sequel has been given an exclusive theatrical release, in line with most other major blockbusters of recent months. This is in line with the shift back to the theatrical experience, although the way in which audiences consume media – particularly that of the latest movies – was changed forever by the pandemic, with a marked increase in those willing to wait for a film to be released to streaming platforms before watching available soon.
